Featuring Rick. OOOOHMYGOD IT'S DONE!!!! Seriously, I can't tell you how long I've been working on this one. It seems like months of single hours spent on Photoshop before running to barely catch the train to work, but it's probably not quite that bad. Anyhow, I got a free day yesterday, as well as this morning, and I spent pretty much all of that time completing this. Experiments on this one: 1- lineless coloring; 2- a different perspective and 3- having fun with the background. (I gave up when it came to the leaves though, obviously. a fitting song that still makes me giggle: [link] Splatter Brush courtesy of ~Spazz24. thank you! |

Leaves (yes, leaves) and grafetti are totally for the win - as are the cracks in the pavement and spurts of grass. all great little details - loads of thought and effort in this! Though... the cynic in me immediately thought "there ought to be more litter!"

It would take me forever to do something like that too - which depresses me when all these "speed-painters" pump out 10x better quality in "est time; 1.5hours"

and thanks so much for all those nice comments
and lineless coloring - is something like detailed backgrounds. it takes a lot of time, (for me at least) and a lot of patience/fun at doing it to really get it properly. and it's a lot easier to fuck up than linearted colors. but it certainly is fun to try out!
now... I'm facing the difficult question... should I go ahead and add some litter or should I let the case rest!?!?
