dA tutorial - part one

a dreamI’m walking down a road in the spring sun. Actually, it’s not so much a road as a path, hard-packed earth with intermixed pebbles and the occasional root at the surface. The earth feels good underneath my bare feet, I can almost feel the life stirring in it and enjoy the slight feathering of the ground as I walk. I can never feel this spring of the ground when I’m walking on roads. Asphalt swallows all movement. It is unforgiving and doesn’t respond to the individual person walking on it. hey guys. wow, it's been a while since I wrote a journal, huh? four months.
four months in which I submitted scant five deviations, all of which are rather more suited for scraps than a gallery. well, it was all I could come up with, with all the wisdom currently clogging my brain.
as you might have gathered from the journal heading, I've passed my 18th birthday now. I am grown-up and mature, I no longer have to bother with dA's mature content tags and I can sign my papers myself.
riiiiiight. like I could suddenly turn off my craziness just 'cause the number of my years changed insignificantly :XD: anyways.
don't expect much of me for the next... two weeks or so... this week, or the remainder of it, I'll be confined to my books, learning for next week. after that, I'll again be confined to whatever I need to be confined to, learning for the oral exams one month after the written ones. the written exams'll be all over thursday next week. and I must admit, I might actually pass. I've never understood maths this well since... well, a while.
today was the last day of official school. from now on, Isi and her class will have OUR classroom to themselves again.
now I feel old.
